  • Students studying in institutions outside West Bengal cannot apply for this.

Post matric scholarship

  • The applicant must be a native of West Bengal.
  • Students who are studying in a school / institution recognized by an educational board / council / university of the state / central government are eligible for it.
  • The applicant should have at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
  • In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than Rs. 2 lakhs.
  • Students studying in institutions outside West Bengal cannot apply for this scholarship.

Merit cum- Means Scholarship

  • Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • Applicant must have got admission in a technical / vocational course.
  • The applicant is required to have a minimum of 50% marks in the previous Higher Secondary / Graduate examination.
  • In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than 2.5 lakhs.
  • Students, who are pursuing studies in West Bengal residents but listed, located outside of West Bengal as may be notified from time to time by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation, also apply Are eligible.

Talent support stipend

  • Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • Applicant must have got admission in a technical / vocational course.
  • The applicant is required to have a minimum of 50% marks in the previous Higher Secondary / Graduate examination.
  • In the main eligibility, the annual family income of the student should not be more than 2.5 lakhs.
  • Students, who are pursuing studies in West Bengal residents but listed, located outside of West Bengal as may be notified from time to time by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation, also apply Are eligible.

Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship

  • XI and XII – must be a student of the applicant’s class
  • Or the applicant should be below Post Graduate level in Engineering, Medical and Technical / Under Graduate, vocational courses in addition to General Degree courses to Post Graduate level students.
  • The scholarship will be approved for qualifying students of merit-cum-means criteria.
  • Students of M.Phil. courses and doctoral courses from state aided institutions are eligible.
  • The upper ceiling for the family income is fixed at 2,50,000 / – per year.

Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship

  • Candidate should be a permanent resident of West Bengal belonging to Scheduled Castes / Tribes / Other Backward Classes.
  • Only girl students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Students studying in class 10, 12th, undergraduate or postgraduate level can apply for the scholarship program.
  • Annual family income should not be more than 2.5 lakhs for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
  • Not more than 1 lakh for annual OBC category than annual family income.
  • Selected candidates will get monthly scholarship amount of Rs 3000.
  • All those students who are studying in educational institutions located outside West Bengal that are not eligible for this scholarship.

Hindi Scholarship

  • Applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
  • Candidate should have secured 60% or more in the previous qualification course.
  • To get scholarship, Hindi should be one of the compulsory subjects.
  • Candidate must be from a non-Hindi speaking state.
  • The selected candidates will be given between 3000 and 10000 rupees per month.
  • All those students who are studying outside of West Bengal studying in an educational institution are not eligible for this scholarship.
